Australian backpacker Keith Wright, who is known as the world’s oldest backpacker, has planned a two month trip to Europe at the age of 95. Wright, a World War II veteran, began traveling after his wife’s death at the age of 85. To finance his travels, the travel enthusiast lives on a tight budget year round. Source: Daily Mail

Family Guy Tour
Fans of the American animated sitcom Family Guy have one big reason to visit Rhode Island: An all-day Family Guy tour that takes tourists around all the institutions featured in the hit comedy. The tour costs $49 and includes visits to the Breakers mansion in Newport and the Van Wickle Gates at Brown University. Source: USA Today

Boston has an art museum in town that sets itself apart from all others. Unlike most art museums, this one celebrates bad art. The privately owned museum is “dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its form and in all its glory.” As one would predict, admission to the museum is free. We all know Twitter has been able to play a role in social media marketing, connecting fans to celebrities, raising money for causes and finding jobs, but now travelers can buy their plane ticket via Twitter. The CEO of Travel Strategist has an idea where users of Twitter (who also have a Paypal account) can tweet “buy” to a great deal and a purchase would be made in their name via Paypal.
